Terms of Use
Effective date: 30 August 2026
Version: 1.0
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ReelAlbum website and your purchase of ReelAlbum services.
These Terms apply to the ReelAlbum service (“ReelAlbum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Our contact details are:
- Customer-service email: hello@reelalbum.com
- Cancellation email: hello@reelalbum.com
- Website:
https://reelalbum.com
Please read these Terms before placing an order.
A binding agreement for an order is formed when you expressly agree to the version of these Terms presented at checkout, submit the order for payment, and the payment is successfully confirmed, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not place an order.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a ReelAlbum account or place an order.
Children are not permitted to create accounts or place orders. An adult customer may provide family or event photographs that include children, subject to the customer's responsibilities under these Terms.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you are legally capable of entering the transaction; and
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3. The ReelAlbum Service
ReelAlbum creates personalized event-video presentations using customer-selected photographs, text, music, manual editing, and approved artificial-intelligence-assisted production tools.
Common video types include:
- weddings and love stories;
- Bar Mitzvahs;
- Bat Mitzvahs;
- birthdays and life stories;
- anniversaries; and
- other personal events accepted by ReelAlbum.
The customer chooses the photographs and their sequence, video orientation, opening style, opening title, optional greeting text, music preference or permitted audio, and delivery speed.
ReelAlbum reviews the submitted materials, creates the video outside the website using manual and AI-assisted production tools, and delivers the finished video through a private digital delivery method.
The website manages accounts, ordering, uploads, payment, order status, communication, and delivery. It does not presently provide a fully automated customer-facing AI video generator.
4. Accounts and Authentication
You may begin preparing an order before creating a permanent account. A permanent, verified ReelAlbum account is required before payment.
Authentication may be provided through Google or a one-time code sent by email. The same authentication process may create an account for a new customer or sign in an existing customer.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining access to your authentication method;
- protecting your email and Google account from unauthorized use;
- providing accurate and current contact information; and
- notifying ReelAlbum promptly if you believe your account or order has been accessed without authorization.
You may not transfer your account to another person or use another person's account without authority.
ReelAlbum may require you to verify your identity or account ownership before disclosing account information, changing an order, processing a privacy request, or taking another security-sensitive action.
5. Order Process
The ReelAlbum order process may include:
- selecting an event type;
- uploading, arranging, and captioning photographs;
- confirming the final photograph set and sequence;
- selecting video orientation;
- selecting an opening style;
- entering an opening title and optional greeting text;
- providing a permitted audio file or music reference;
- selecting delivery speed;
- authenticating and completing account details;
- reviewing the order, price, and applicable Terms and completing payment; and
- receiving order confirmation.
The exact options, prices, and availability shown during checkout form part of the order information presented to you.
Please review all information carefully before payment. If you discover an error before production begins, contact ReelAlbum promptly.
6. Your Photographs, Text, Music, and Other Materials
You retain the rights that you lawfully hold in the photographs, audio, captions, greetings, titles, and other material you provide (“Customer Materials”).
By providing Customer Materials, you represent and warrant that you have sufficient rights, permissions, and authority to provide those materials to ReelAlbum for the private ordered service and to permit the processing described in these Terms.
You must not knowingly provide material that:
- infringes copyright, moral rights, privacy, image, publicity, or other rights;
- was obtained through unauthorized access;
- is unlawful, exploitative, threatening, harassing, or abusive;
- contains illegal sexual content or sexual content involving a minor;
- is intended to deceive, defame, impersonate, or unlawfully harm another person; or
- cannot lawfully be processed for the requested service.
You do not need to claim that you personally created every family photograph. You must, however, have sufficient rights and authority to provide it for ReelAlbum's private production service.
7. Photographs of Other People and Children
Customer Materials may show relatives, friends, event guests, children, and other people who do not have ReelAlbum accounts.
By providing such material, you confirm that you have sufficient authority to provide it for creation of the private ordered video and that you have considered the privacy and interests of the people depicted.
Private production of an ordered video does not automatically authorize ReelAlbum to publish, advertise, or otherwise use every identifiable person appearing in the video for ReelAlbum's promotional purposes.
Any public-example, portfolio, social-media, or advertising use is governed by a separate optional permission and release process and is not authorized merely by agreeing to these Terms.
ReelAlbum may require additional permission from an identifiable adult or from a parent or legal guardian of an identifiable child before any public use.
8. Limited Licence to Produce Your Order
You grant ReelAlbum a non-exclusive, limited licence to host, copy, reproduce, edit, adapt, animate, combine, encode, transmit, store, and otherwise process Customer Materials only as reasonably necessary to:
- create and maintain your order draft;
- review the materials for production suitability;
- create, edit, revise, and deliver the ordered video;
- maintain temporary working and emergency backup copies;
- provide support and investigate production or delivery issues;
- protect the service, customers, and ReelAlbum from misuse or security threats;
- resolve a dispute or enforce these Terms; and
- comply with applicable law.
This licence does not authorize ReelAlbum to use private Customer Materials for unrelated advertising, public examples, sale, or independent AI-model training.
The licence ends when the relevant Customer Materials are deleted, except to the extent that a copy temporarily remains in a backup or particular information must be retained for legal, accounting, security, evidence, or dispute-resolution purposes.
9. Music and Third-Party Audio
You may upload an audio file only if you have sufficient rights or permission for ReelAlbum to copy, synchronize, edit, and include it in the ordered video.
A YouTube, YouTube Music, or other streaming-service link identifies a music preference. A link does not itself grant ReelAlbum permission to download, copy, synchronize, or include the referenced recording.
ReelAlbum may:
- reject an audio file or music request;
- request evidence of permission;
- ask you to choose different music;
- use a suitably licensed alternative with your approval; or
- offer a ReelAlbum music library where the necessary rights have been obtained.
ReelAlbum is not required to use a requested track when the necessary rights are unavailable or unclear.
10. AI-Assisted Production
ReelAlbum may use approved AI-assisted tools to add subtle movement, perform visual treatment, or support other production tasks.
AI-assisted media processing is probabilistic and may sometimes produce visual variation, unexpected movement, distortion, or other artifacts. ReelAlbum uses human production judgment and reasonable review to select and assemble the finished video, but cannot promise that generated movement will reconstruct exactly what a depicted person historically did or would have done.
The presence of AI-assisted production does not remove any mandatory right or remedy that applies if the delivered service materially fails to conform to what ReelAlbum promised.
The processing of Customer Materials by ReelAlbum and its approved providers is further described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Photograph Quality and Material Review
You are responsible for selecting and uploading photographs that are suitable for the intended video.
ReelAlbum normally reviews submitted materials within one business day after successful payment. Production begins only after ReelAlbum confirms that the materials are approved for production.
ReelAlbum may request replacement material if a photograph or other file is unusable or unsuitable because of its format, quality, corruption, content, rights status, technical characteristics, or another material production problem.
If replacement material is requested, the production period does not begin until the required usable material has been received and approved.
If the order cannot reasonably proceed, ReelAlbum and the customer will follow the cancellation, refund, replacement, and mandatory consumer-rights provisions applicable to the circumstances.
12. Photograph Set and Sequence
Before continuing, you will be asked to confirm the final photograph set and sequence.
Your confirmation means that ReelAlbum may use that set and sequence to plan and produce the ordered video. It does not waive a mandatory consumer right.
Requests made after ReelAlbum approves the materials for production to:
- replace photographs;
- add or remove photographs;
- change the sequence;
- change the music;
- change the selected format, opening, title, or greeting;
- regenerate AI-assisted material; or
- change the creative direction
may require additional work, additional time, and an additional charge.
ReelAlbum will disclose an additional charge before performing paid additional work. No additional paid work will be performed without the customer's agreement to the charge.
13. Prices and Taxes
All consumer prices are displayed in Israeli New Shekels (NIS) as the final amount payable for the selected order, unless a clear correction is required because of an obvious technical or typographical error.
Optional extras and surcharges are displayed before payment. These may include:
- photographs above the selected package amount;
- urgent delivery;
- an additional greeting slide; and
- another optional service expressly selected by the customer.
The payment summary displays the applicable components and final amount before the customer places the order.
Prices may change for future orders. A change does not alter the price of an order that has already been successfully placed, except where the customer later agrees to paid additional work.
14. Payment and Receipts
Payment is processed through PayPal. The payment provider's terms and privacy notice apply to the payment service it independently provides.
Full payment is required to place an order unless ReelAlbum expressly offers another arrangement.
ReelAlbum does not intend to receive or store complete payment-card credentials when payment is completed through the provider-hosted checkout. ReelAlbum may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, refund information, and other information needed to manage the order, issue accounting documents, prevent fraud, or resolve a dispute.
ReelAlbum issues the accounting document required for the transaction under applicable Israeli law.
A payment-provider confirmation does not replace a ReelAlbum receipt or other accounting document where ReelAlbum is legally required to issue one.
If payment is reversed, rejected, disputed, or suspected to be unauthorized, ReelAlbum may pause production or delivery while the issue is investigated, subject to applicable law.
15. Delivery Timing
Unless a different period is clearly displayed and accepted at checkout:
- Standard delivery: seven business days after ReelAlbum approves the submitted materials for production.
- Urgent delivery: two business days after ReelAlbum approves the submitted materials for production, with the surcharge displayed at checkout.
The production period begins when ReelAlbum confirms material approval, not when the customer starts an order or merely completes payment.
A delay caused by missing information, unusable material, requested replacements, payment issues, or a customer-requested change may reasonably extend the delivery period.
If an event outside ReelAlbum's reasonable control materially affects delivery, ReelAlbum will take reasonable steps to inform the customer and reduce the delay. This does not exclude a mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer remedy.
16. Revisions and Additional Work
Unless different terms are clearly displayed and accepted for a particular order, one limited revision round is included.
To use the included revision round, the customer must normally submit the request in writing within three business days after delivery.
The included revision round is intended for limited adjustments. It does not include:
- a new creative direction;
- extensive replacement or reordering of approved photographs;
- replacing the selected music after production;
- repeated AI regeneration;
- creating a substantially different video;
- changes requested after the included request period; or
- multiple separate revision rounds.
ReelAlbum will explain whether a requested change is included or requires additional paid work. Any additional price and timing will be disclosed before the paid work begins.
Nothing in this section limits a mandatory remedy for a defect, nonconformity, failure to deliver what was promised, or another matter governed by applicable consumer law.
17. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation rights, cancellation periods, any permitted cancellation fees, refunds, and refund timing are governed by applicable Israeli law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right or remedy.
You may submit a cancellation request by email to hello@reelalbum.com.
18. Defects, Nonconformity, and Service Problems
If you believe the delivered video is defective, materially different from the agreed order, incomplete, or not delivered within an applicable promised period, contact hello@reelalbum.com promptly with your order number and a clear description of the issue.
ReelAlbum may review the relevant order materials, instructions, production record, and delivered file to investigate.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate resolution may include correction, re-performance, replacement, price adjustment, partial refund, full refund, or another remedy.
Nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory remedy or makes a customer pay a prohibited fee for a defect, nonconformity, failure to supply, or another matter for which applicable law provides protection.
19. Delivery, Download, and Storage Period
When the video is ready, ReelAlbum will provide the finished video through a private Google Drive link.
You are responsible for downloading and securely saving your final video during the stated availability period.
The active delivery copy and delivery link are normally available for 30 days after delivery. Customer photographs, uploaded music, and active production files are also normally deleted from active production storage 30 days after delivery.
Emergency backup copies containing customer media may remain for up to 60 days after delivery before deletion.
ReelAlbum does not provide indefinite archival storage and does not promise that a video can be recovered after the applicable deletion period.
Additional retention information appears in the Privacy Policy.
20. Ownership and Use of the Finished Video
You retain the rights that you lawfully hold in Customer Materials.
ReelAlbum retains the rights it holds in its pre-existing materials, including its:
- brand and logo;
- website and software;
- opening templates and reusable designs;
- layouts and reusable production elements;
- production methods and workflows; and
- other material created independently of your order.
After full payment, you own all rights that ReelAlbum holds and can transfer in the finished video. ReelAlbum assigns those rights to you, including the rights to display, share, copy, modify, and use the finished video commercially.
This transfer does not override third-party rights, including rights in music or Customer Materials that ReelAlbum does not own. Any applicable third-party licence restrictions continue to apply.
Unless separately agreed in writing, purchase of the video does not transfer ownership of ReelAlbum's pre-existing templates, branding, software, production methods, or reusable materials.
21. Public Examples, Portfolio, Social Media, and Advertising
Agreement to these Terms does not give ReelAlbum permission to publish your private photographs or finished video as a public example or advertisement.
If ReelAlbum offers a public-example program, it will be presented through a separate optional process. The process may distinguish among:
- website or portfolio use;
- organic social-media use; and
- paid advertising.
ReelAlbum may require separate releases from identifiable adults and from a parent or legal guardian of an identifiable child.
Any discount associated with public-example permission, the permitted uses, duration, withdrawal process, and removal obligations will be stated in the separate release.
22. Prohibited Use
You may not use ReelAlbum to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, image, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- submit illegal, exploitative, abusive, or malicious content;
- harass, threaten, defame, deceive, or unlawfully impersonate another person;
- obtain or upload material through unauthorized access;
- interfere with website security or another customer's account or order;
- introduce malicious code or attempt to circumvent technical restrictions;
- use the service for unlawful surveillance, exploitation, or sexual content involving a minor; or
- resell or misuse ReelAlbum's website, templates, or service without written permission.
23. Suspension, Refusal, and Termination
ReelAlbum may reasonably pause, refuse, or terminate an account or order where necessary to investigate or address:
- suspected fraud or unauthorized payment;
- unlawful or exploitative material;
- a credible copyright, privacy, or image-right complaint;
- a security risk;
- abusive conduct;
- material breach of these Terms; or
- a production request that ReelAlbum cannot lawfully or reasonably fulfil.
Where practical, ReelAlbum will explain the issue and any information or corrective action required.
The financial and cancellation consequences of suspension, refusal, or termination will depend on the reason, work already performed, mandatory consumer rights, and the cancellation and refund provisions in these Terms.
24. Third-Party Services
ReelAlbum uses third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, email, payment, production, and delivery.
Some third parties provide a service directly to you under their own terms, such as a payment or authentication provider. ReelAlbum is not responsible for an unrelated third-party service outside ReelAlbum's reasonable control merely because it is linked from the website.
This section does not remove ReelAlbum's responsibility to select and manage providers appropriately where they process information or perform services on ReelAlbum's behalf.
25. Disclaimers and Mandatory Rights
ReelAlbum provides a personalized creative service. Artistic and production decisions may involve judgment, and AI-assisted visual treatment may produce limited variation.
Any examples shown on the website illustrate possible styles or results. They do not guarantee that every photograph, face, movement, transition, or finished video will look identical to an example.
ReelAlbum does not promise that:
- every customer photograph can be animated or used;
- every requested music track can lawfully be included;
- AI-generated movement will be historically exact; or
- the service will be completely uninterrupted or free from every technical error.
These limitations do not exclude ReelAlbum's obligation to provide the service with the standard required by applicable law or any mandatory remedy where the delivered service materially fails to conform to the agreed order.
26. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, a consumer right, or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
ReelAlbum is responsible for loss to the extent provided by applicable law. ReelAlbum is not responsible for loss caused solely by inaccurate instructions, unlawful Customer Materials, a customer's failure to download the delivered video during the clearly disclosed availability period, or another circumstance attributable to the customer, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
27. Communications
ReelAlbum may send operational communications concerning:
- authentication and account security;
- order drafts;
- payment and receipts;
- photograph review and replacement requests;
- production status;
- delivery;
- cancellations and refunds;
- support; and
- changes that materially affect an account or order.
Marketing communications are optional and are not authorized by agreeing to these Terms. Marketing choices and withdrawal are described in the Privacy Policy and the relevant subscription form.
28. Changes to the Service or These Terms
ReelAlbum may update the website, future service options, prices, or these Terms.
A change to these Terms will display a new effective date and version. The version accepted for an already-paid order will continue to govern that order unless:
- the customer agrees to a lawful change;
- a change is required by law; or
- applicable law requires a different result.
New or materially revised Terms may be presented for acceptance before a later order. Continued browsing alone will not be treated as acceptance of materially changed purchase terms for a new paid order.
29. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and ReelAlbum orders are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, subject to any mandatory law that applies to the customer or transaction.
Disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Israel in accordance with applicable jurisdiction and venue rules.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to use an unnecessarily remote court or waives a mandatory jurisdiction, venue, complaint, or consumer-protection right.
Before starting formal proceedings, you are invited to contact hello@reelalbum.com so that the parties can try to resolve the matter. This invitation does not shorten a limitation period or prevent either party from exercising a legal right.
30. General Terms
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally possible. The invalid provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to make it lawful, where permitted.
A delay in enforcing a provision is not automatically a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer an order or contractual right to another person where doing so would interfere with account security, production, payment, or another person's rights, unless ReelAlbum agrees or applicable law permits the transfer.
ReelAlbum may transfer the business or these Terms as part of a lawful sale, reorganization, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law and protection of customer rights.
Headings are included for convenience and do not limit the meaning of a provision.
